Decatur Kids are Hopping into Spring
Children’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt Celebration will be Sunday, April 16, 2017, during the Sunday School hour. Bring a basket and a friend for this fun filled event. We may hunt eggs, but we will never have to hunt for Jesus!
C.I.A (Children In Action!)
Please give a big round of applause to our children passionate about serving others, our children’s missions team C.I.A.
Our first mission event of 2017 was February 18th. The children showed extra LOVE to our local animal shelter. They collected over 25 bags of animal food from the wonderful members of our church! The kiddos also got their hands a little dirty serving our local animals’ needs.
Way to go kiddos and a big thank you to everyone that donated!
Wednesday Night Reconnect
Together as a team Regina Stone and I will partner with families to help children under-stand important parts of our Christian faith.
Each week we will have bible studies, hands on learning activities as well as songs and praise time. Please join us, partnering together to make disciples of our young people.
Kidz Worship is Off to a Great Start!
We are learning, moving, and worshiping together! Each Sunday we do something different and we are having a great time growing in our faith together. We have already experienced the Creation story through Legos, sang and danced, and we have even done a service project, where we transfigured ordinary pails into bright and beautiful ones for our friends at the nursing home!
