Healthy Church Initiative

Updates from HCI Teams

Good work is occurring with our HCI Teams, including visiting other churches in the community to see how things are done in other settings through observation and discussions with other church leaders. In addition, there has been a review of the community-wide survey recently completed.

Family Ministries Team has set their top five priorities as developing small groups, service projects for the entire church, children’s church opportunity, safe and fun weekend activities for youth, and possible expansion of preschool opportunities.

The Discipleship Team is planning on a training event in early 2017 to plan on creating and offering a pathway of discipleship for people of all ages.

The Ministry Evaluation Team is waiting for responses from some ministry areas as to their plans for alignment with the Mission and Vision of the church.

Community Ministries is developing plans for events to connect within the community in the coming months.

The Hospitality Team is on the ground running with their plans and waiting for the new parking areas to be available and signage to be installed to help guests navigate around the church campus.

Great things are happening as we move further into our prescriptions!
