Welcome to the Ministries of First United Methodist Church and thank you for taking this opportunity to explore the many ways in

which our church reaches out to others.

As you explore our website, you will discover that ministry moves in many different directions … from simple acts of folding newsletters to leading Bible studies to visiting persons in need. I hope that you will consider each one of these ministries outlined throughout the pages of our website. These are opportunities for YOU to be in ministry.

Of course, it is impossible for any one person to do everything. It is possible for everything to get done if each one does something. I ask that you review this list of ministries and find one or two that suit your interests and talents. Like the image of the Body of Christ that Paul speaks of in I Corinthians, each individual person is one piece of the whole; yet the whole body is not complete until each individual part is in place. That’s why you are important: without you, our ministries are not complete! Please join us in this wonderful adventure we call ministry and find God’s blessings for yourself as you share them with others!
