Easter Sunrise Services – Sunday, April 1, 2018

6:45 a.m. – Sunrise Service with Oak Grove UMC at the Oak Grove Pavilion, 1295 Greenwood Rd.

7:00 a.m. – Community Easter Sunrise Worship on the Decatur Courthouse Square with Pecan Street Mission.

All are invited to the first annual Community Easter Sunrise Worship on the Downtown Decatur Courthouse Square! We will gather at 7:00 a.m. to sing, pray, worship, and celebrate the good news of resurrection! Our neighbors at Trinity Street Coffee Bar (at 110 N Trinity St) will be providing free coffee on the Square for everyone!

Easter Egg Hunt

The Children’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be Sunday, April 1, 2018, at the MAC during the Sunday School hour (9:40 a.m.).

We will have donuts and a fun-filled hour. Please have kiddos bring an Easter basket for collecting eggs. Everyone is welcome to join in on the FUN!

Flowering of the Cross on Easter Sunday

As you prepare for Easter worship, bring fresh flowers with you to church to place on the cross before or after worship. A symbol of death, darkness and pain is transformed into something beautiful, new and alive in celebration of the Resurrection of Christ. Together, we can transform the cross and help make this Easter a celebration of new life.
