Blue Christmas Worship

Thursday, December 21, 2017

6:00 p.m.
Asbury Hall (the MAC)

Blue Christmas? Yes, blue as in the blues or “I am feeling blue.” Not everyone feels the same excitement about the Christmas holidays. Too often we overlook those who are dealing with the death of a loved one, broken relationships, sickness, or other causes of anxiety.

The longest night of the year (the Winter Solstice) occurs on December 21 this year. If you, or someone you know, is feeling blue, there is a service of reflection planned for Thursday, December 21, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in Asbury Hall (the MAC).

We hope this service will be meaningful for anyone searching for healing and hope.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Services

Sunday, December 24, 2017

5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Christmas Eve Services are at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 24, 2017.

The 5:30 service will have a family emphasis and include a time for children. Both services will include candle lighting, Holy Communion, and the singing of “Silent Night.”

Offerings made at Christmas Eve evening services will benefit the Church Chest Fund.

Note: We will still have our regular Sunday morning worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 10: 50 a.m. to celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Advent.
